HANDS AND FEET

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
And we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
If any one of you has material possessions
and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them,
how can the love of God be in you?
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue
but with actions and in truth."
1 John 3:16-18

From its inception, Bridge of Hope Ministries has eagerly sought not just to be a church where people meet on Sundays but where the love of God is shared with the surrounding community as well. We live this out through various acts of service and by hosting different events. The goal is simply that the world may know how great the love of God is for all of us. After all, we do not share this love expecting anything from people in return. Rather, we recognize that the kingdom of God is most effective when it is given away!

UPCOMING EVENTS: October 31: THE HALLELUJAH PARTY

Each year, on October 31 (Halloween), Bridge of Hope offers a trick-or-treating alternative for the community. Young children and their families are invited out to enjoy a FREE night of food and fun. As in the past, this year's event will again be hosted at the Dordt College Rec Center (across from the All Seasons Center on 7th St. NE in Sioux Center, IA).

Parents are invited to bring their young children out for a wide variety of games and a whole lot of candy and prizes. (Food and sitting areas for parents are also provided).

Throughout the past several years, the Hallelujah Party has grown tremendously, entertaining hundreds of kids every year. Come and check out what God's love looks like when it moves beyond church walls and serves our community!
