BRIDGE'S 2010 CHURCH-WIDE SMALL GROUP STUDY: Please read the introduction and chapter 1 by Sunday, February 14. This study will start February 14 and run through March 28. If you are still in need of a book, please stop by the office this week.

NEXT WEEK SUNDAY we will be taking a second offering. Bridge of Hope does this once a month, designating the funds collected to a different cause each time. This month's offering will go to the Lao Ministry, and will be collected on February 14.

NEW NURSERY COORDINATOR:  We are looking for a person to fill the Nursery Coordinating position who makes the quarterly schedule, assembling a team to help periodically clean toys, and to make sure the nurseries are running smoothly.  If you are interested in using your gifts in this way, please contact Valerie. 

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS ON GIVING:  If you listed tithing in 2010 as a New Year’s resolution then utilizing Bridge of Hope’s automatic fund transfers would prove a helpful discipline.  Forms are available online.  Please fill out and deposit in the offering bags, to a service shepherd, or at the church office.

DONATING TOYS: Are you looking for a good place for your old toys?  Consider donating used, in good condition toys to the church nurseries (infant and toddler).  Please contact Jenni Bullock if you have any donations.  If anyone would volunteer to meet with Jenni to go through all the toys, please let her know.   

NEW NURSERY PROCEDURES : The Nursery is starting a sign-in/out procedure.  All children will now need to be signed in to nursery, and ONLY a parent or guardian may sign the child out, under no circumstance will the child be allowed to go with anyone else.  Also, please make sure all sippy cups, bottles, and diaper bags are labeled with the child's name. 

MARRIAGE READINESS SEMINARS for all engaged couples or those anticipating marriage in the next year will be offered at First Christian Reformed Church on Sundays, February 7 - 28.  Topics to be covered are Commitment, Intimacy, Budgeting and Stewardship, and Communication.  Cost is $20 for the series or $6/session.  Brochures with registration information are available at the Welcome Center.

     CORY IS ON BOARD - Cory Van Sloten is now on staff part-time. As a general rule of thumb, Cory will be reachable at the church offices Tuesday and Thursdays between 8:30-2:30  

ANGEL FOOD MINISTIRIES -   Orders may be placed by calling the CFE office at 712.722.3527. You may check their website for the most current menu. If you would like to volunteer to help sort boxes on Saturday delivery days, please contact CFE or Allyssa or call her at 712.722.3448.
